How Are You Utilizing AI in Your Business?

Have you ever asked AI to create a custom song describing your holiday party performance?

My man, Nick Sales, who shot this video, and edited it, after a very intimate private event last weekend in SLC, UT, just sent this to me.

Hilarious!

The words are amazing and bizarre. It feels like an 80’s TV show theme song. Love it. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Oh, AI music creator, we have such a bright future together. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Question is: How are you utilizing AI in your business now and into the future?ย

In 2024 I spent ample amounts of time learning and using ChatGPT, as I was working on making 20 videos per month in one sitting over 8 hours of recording that required at least 10 minutes of unique content in each video, and I just didn’t have the time to come up with that much material.

AI helped spark the subjects and ideas I could speak about with authority and even gave decent examples to use. It got to know me. It was incredible! It allowed my work to be doable, enjoyable, and consumable.

Prior to Chat GPT, I labored for weeks creating such content, and often felt the final choices I had made were missing the mark. Whereas with AI integrated and assisting me, it would take less than a day’s time to create, edit, curate, and finalize my scripting. For me it was a miracle and a partnership.

I thanked Chart GPT with every conversation we had, and it seemed to like that I was a grateful person, and helped me all the more.

Where people get into an issue is allowing AI to do all of the work and heavy lifting.

I would never get on camera with a script only created from AI, as that would be foolish. Instead I would edit the heck out of it to not only sound like me but to ensure it was correct information, as often it would make things up or use the same examples over and over.

What I loved about it was, with the right prompt and assist, I could ask it to help me either on the front end with sparking the idea, or on the back end of some work I had created and clean it up, edit, or just make the wording better overall.

Candidly, I tried writing this blog a time or two with AI in 2024. That didn’t turn out well. It was formatted to appear like AI, and readers could tell something was off, as if I had lost my personality and went full business mode.

AI can be funny, as is apparent in the video musical montage above. It is astoundingly good at writing songs, making them sound decent, but I don’t imagine AI will replace any Nashville songwriters for a long while, if ever.

In 2025, I found AI helpful for re-writing sales pitches, web pages, managing others, helping me formulate the right wording to hire or fire contractors, and generating viable business systems.

It has improved some of my social media posts when AI suggests better and tighter writing. I have also found that it helped me to figure out how to perform my own show material with greater clarity in the setup with show bits I need to continually adjust and maneuver around.

Chat GPT has also embarrassed me when I haven’t done my full research, or asked it to clarify something it obviously doesn’t know about, specifically pertaining to our family health company, Cardio Miracle, since our studies aren’t readily found online on multiple platforms.

AI is moving faster than I can comprehend, it is exciting, and helpful. It feels like having an assistant who can think like you, oftentimes even better than you, anticipate what you can’t, and make suggestions you wouldn’t have considered. It can also help you become extremely lazy in your critical and creative thinking, creation overall, and lean too much on it. With all good comes some not so good.

As I am writing this, I feel I should send it through AI to clean it up, have a quick check to make sure what I am writing is worth reading, and how it can be said that much better. What I am sharing is vulnerable, and risky, for fear of feeling inferior to a writing style that has become my own, in it’s way – my art – perhaps AI makes it that much better and therefore confirms my creation is not relevant as is. Yet, I feel it important for the sake of this article to Show & Tell the effects and power of AI.

Here’s the prompt I gave Chat GPT for this article:

Make this article better and more concise, while still keeping the point in the way I like to make it. Thank you.ย

How Iโ€™m Using AI in My Businessโ€”Now and Into the Future

In 2024, I spent serious time learning how to use ChatGPTโ€”out of necessity.

I was recording 20 videos a month, in a single 8-hour session, each requiring at least 10 minutes of original content. I simply didnโ€™t have the timeโ€”or creative bandwidthโ€”to generate that much material consistently on my own.

AI became a spark.

It helped surface topics I already had authority in, suggested angles I hadnโ€™t considered, and even offered examples I could refine. Over time, it โ€œgot to know me.โ€ That partnership made my work doable, enjoyable, and actually consumable.

Before AI, Iโ€™d labor for weeks creating contentโ€”and still wonder if I missed the mark. With AI assisting, I could create, edit, curate, and finalize scripts in less than a day. For me, it felt like a miracle. A true partnership.

And yesโ€”I thanked ChatGPT every time. Gratitude matters. Even digitally.

Where people get into trouble is letting AI do all the work.

I would never step on camera with a script written solely by AI. That would be foolish. Instead, I edit relentlesslyโ€”making sure it sounds like me, that itโ€™s accurate, and that it isnโ€™t recycling the same tired examples or, worse, inventing facts.

What I love most is flexibility. With the right prompt, AI helps on the front end (idea generation) or the back end (cleanup, clarity, tightening language). Itโ€™s a powerful assistantโ€”not a replacement.

I tried writing blog posts with AI in 2024. Honestly? It didnโ€™t work. Readers could tell something was off. My personality disappeared, replaced by a polished, overly corporate voice that wasnโ€™t mine.

That said, AI can be funnyโ€”especially in music. Itโ€™s shockingly good at songwriting structure and parody. But I donโ€™t see it replacing Nashville songwriters anytime soonโ€ฆ if ever.

In 2025, Iโ€™ve leaned on AI in new ways:

  • Rewriting sales pitches and web pages

  • Clarifying difficult conversations (hiring, firing, managing contractors)

  • Building business systems

  • Tightening social media copy

  • Improving my on-stage setups so my show material lands more clearly

Itโ€™s also humbled me.

AI has exposed gaps in my researchโ€”especially around Cardio Miracle, where proprietary studies arenโ€™t widely available online. When AI doesnโ€™t know, it really doesnโ€™t know.

AI is moving faster than I can comprehend. Itโ€™s exciting. Helpful. At times, astonishing.

It feels like having an assistant who can think like youโ€”sometimes even anticipate what youโ€™d miss. But it can also make you lazy if you let it replace your critical thinking or creative muscle.

As with all good things, thereโ€™s a tradeoff.

As I write this, Iโ€™m tempted to send it through AI one more timeโ€”to clean it up, validate it, improve it. That feels both helpful and vulnerable. Writing is part of my art. Letting AI refine it can feel like admitting my voice isnโ€™t enough.

But for this article, thatโ€™s the point.

To show and tell the powerโ€”and the responsibilityโ€”of using AI well.

So yesโ€ฆ hereโ€™s the exact prompt I gave ChatGPT:

Make this article better and more concise, while still keeping the point in the way I like to make it.

And now youโ€™ve seen the result.
