You know you are in for a treat when 10 minutes into a musical you have learned more about American History than you learned in 4 years of high school.
Hearing about this production, and unable to get tickets for the past few years, our family finally had the chance to attend Hamilton this week.
It lived up to the hype (it has been called the greatest show ever created), even though I wanted it to be proven wrong (how could something be as good as everyone claims?), and made me ponder how often we experience a “Hamilton” in life and business.
The challenge Hamilton faces is delivering the goods due to the organic promotion from raving fans.
Fortunately, the product is so delicious, so fulfilling, so innovative, that we feel the price paid (exorbitant!) is worth every penny and then some.
This is called keeping a promise.
When it comes to your business, your web site, your brand, the products you sell, the customer service you offer, your performance, are you keeping your promise?
If the advertisement/commercial is greater than the reality of the customer experience, you will not be a Hamilton.
But when you live up to the hype, and then some, you become legendary for your promises.
Your customers and audience will rave about you, share you with their closest friends, demand your family embrace you.
Congratulations to Lin-Manuel Miranda for creating something that shouldn’t be this good from what we’ve heard, and yet proves to be even better with each masterfully placed spoken word. #Hamilton
