The Promise to The One: YOU

Hilary Weeks ~ Live All In

For past 6 months I have been burning the candle and running on all cylinders.

If you follow me on social media you know about my travels, perhaps you’ve seen me one day in Kauai, the next day in Vermont, and the next day in Montana.

So grateful for the work and opportunity, yet as we keep our promises to clients, family, and every need to keep a business afloat, we often forget one very important person: OURSELVES.

What do you do to Keep The Promise to The One?

The One is YOU.

In my presentations I speak about Be Present and 100% Engagement.  Today is about “Live All In”.

I find those moments as I am rushing from one flight to the next can either be filled with turbulence and panic… or complete gratitude.

I recall having a 15 minute turnaround, knowing the next flight is leaving as we are just praying the connecting aircraft door to finally open so we can sprint for it.  Backpack over the shoulders and my roller bag cradled like a football, I became Usain Bolt through JFK in a mad dash to make my next flight.

This seems to be an everyday occurrence for the frequent flier.

Amid the chaos, to then sit and think – I am flying thousands of miles in mere hours, which were once impossible journeys, is a beautiful perspective – as you get your heart rate back to normal.

As I sit on the plane, find my seat, noticing the uncomfortable people around me, I am in a meditative state, enjoying the peace that rushes over me by listening to music that calms me.

Having seen me on stage, you may be surprised that I’m not listening to Weird Al or Michael Jackson 24/7, and though there is a time and a place for that, I prefer Classical music, or inspirational tunes, that fill my soul.

I appreciate that you read my posts for the laughs, and that I can create an experience that is quite unique from the stage due to my antics, but I’d like to invite you into my world just a bit more.

The amount of energy it takes to create the laughs must be balanced off stage by a meditative, contemplative, deeply serious about making business work, kind of spirit and mind.

That’s what I am constantly working on.

Please consider how you keep The Promise to You.  What do you do?

This post is a bit different if you don’t know me in this regard of peacefulness, and I would like to introduce you to an artist who brings great peace to my soul, fills the world with joy and light, and can really help you in 2019 to have a peaceful year.

Her name is Hilary Weeks, you may have enjoyed her music already:

She has just launched what I feel may be the future of how we can and will consume our favorite music.

An annual plan that allows you to receive a monthly original song and inspiration from her, along with other goodies you can read about HERE.

As you know, I don’t “pitch” much of anything on this blog, but I might encourage your consideration on this one as something I’ve invested in for myself and wanted to share with you.  When Hilary learned I am doing this she even said,

What a beautiful post.  If your readers are interested in 15% off, please feel free to include the coupon code LAI15

She is brilliant, you will thank me later, but I hope you’ll join me in supporting her art, and bask in it’s life giving love.

This is Keeping The Promise to The One.

Here’s to you.
