Happy Mothers Day

Dear Mother ~

You gave birth to me.  Loved me before anyone else.  Know me from inside.  I am a part of you.  Thank you for life. Thank you for late nights, sleepily feeding and caring for me, school projects and mending my broken heart. Thank you for mentoring when they said I was different and showing me it was ok.  When they said I was “ugly and had a big mouth”, how you assured me I wasn’t ugly….but had a big mouth… that I could use to smile, spread joy, and sing. The memories of you bring tears of gratitude, your sacrifice, your listening ear, your wisdom and understanding.  All I ever wanted was to find someone with your light who might become the mother of my children.  Thank you for guiding me to become the man who could win the next Mother.

Dear Mother of My Children ~

You are my light, my inspiration, my muse.  My favorite person, my best friend, my companion for eternity.  Your magnificence in exercising your divine gifts and bringing our sacred children to earth took me from onlooker of existence to fully immersed in the circle of life.  Thank you for each sacrifice, for teaching and loving me all while guiding me to become a father who is present, my only true gift to give.  You amaze daily.  It’s not just in the line at the store that I see you with fresh eyes each moment, and tell the world about our love, yet in the still of our quiet every morning as we wake up and am grateful for the light you are in my life.  Thank you for allowing me to live this one life with you. I adore all about you.  Thank you for guiding and giving us the next Mother.

Dear Mother of My Future Grandchildren ~

My precious daughter.  Our first born.  I have watched you grow, from the moment you first saw light, to someday bringing it to the world.  You are a miracle.  You are one of my true heroes.  You were taught by the greatest woman on earth and will stand on her shoulders to do even better.  As the young dancer tears spring from my eyes, but to know you will carry the future joy and posterity gives the greatest hope for all humanity.  My pride in you is only exceeded by the gratitude of the blessing to be your earthly facilitator of learning and support.  Thank you for teaching me more about love than any ever could.

Dear Mothers of All ~

Thank you for endless hours, boundless energy, reserves spent and yet continuing;

For sacrifice, for color of life, for beautifying each moment;

For support, patience, and doing all that always needs to be done;

For looking past man’s frailties and encouraging, embracing, and loving us anyway.

You make this world bright.  You continue the patterns of nature and eternity.  Each day is the Mother’s Day, but on this Day, we celebrate your grace and bow in humble gratitude in awe of the blessing that is you.

    You have a wonderful way with beautiful words! I loved how you honored your mom, then Your wife, and daughter! It makes it even better that I know your family as I was in Tami\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’s ward and I love her mom! Say hi to my son David Marrott if you see him! Maybe you could someday entertain all my Sun River family here in St. George! Thanks for being you!! Love, Kathleen Bovo.
