Father Time 2.0

Just in time for Father’s Day this weekend we have released my “Father Time” NEW recording, as completed at the VidAngel studios with DryBar Comedy a few weeks ago.  I blogged about it HERE.

You’ll relate to my singing “I Will Wait” by Mumford & Sons as I patiently make the kids gather their stuff;

You’ll laugh with the Family Prayer and Bedtime Song (Metallica) routine that has become one of the most favorable requested routines I’ve ever written for the hilarity of nighttime rituals;

You’ll enjoy the Daddy Dinosaur, AC/DC, Adele, “Shut Up’s a Potty Word to Me”, “Binky”, Oils routine, “Hey Selfie”, “WiFi Connection”, losing hair material (“Let it Go”), and much more.

If you have seen my former recording of this show I appreciate that you took a chance on it 2 years ago upon release (and immediate retirement of most of the material).  It is now officially a Collector’s Item and may go for a few pennies on eBay.

This new one is what I’m calling here only “Father Time 2.0” due to being superior in film quality, my performance of the material, staging, lighting, sound, audience response, everything was clicking and worked out beautifully.  I hope you’ll check it out.

It is a whopping $1 to rent as a digital download (no physical DVD in the plans).

I just watched it with my kids and even they were laughing, having attended the LIVE recording, so that’s a good thing.

It was also touted by VidAngel as their highest rated performance of the year, so that’s awesome.

Here’s the thing – you know me for talking about the promises that we make to ourselves and our families. In the “Father Time” recording I just make fun of being a Dad and getting older, because what else can we do but laugh about our lives?

No family is perfect.  No Dad ever kept every promise.  But the Dad’s who really try are what we are celebrating this weekend.

Thanks be to my Father for giving me the kind of life every kid would dream of having.

Thanks be to my Children for helping me get to a new level of commitment constantly, for testing my limits, and for giving me all of my material.  I love you guys.

Thanks be to a great God, our Father in Heaven, for the blessing of life, the joy of living in the present, the opportunity to love and be loved.  And to return to Him.  So grateful.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there, men that make and keep promises are few and far between, I hope you’ll join me in promising to strive to be one of them.
